HUMANITIES FOR BUSINESS (H4B) - BOOTCAMP
Entrepreneurs write books to market their businesses all the time – why not turn your book(s) into a business?
This is what we do in our bootcamp!
When did you last say the following sentences to yourself or to others?
// MY RESEARCH IS USELESS – IT CREATES NO IMPACT IN THE WORLD.
// IF I DO NOT GET A JOB IN THE UNIVERSITY OR AT AN NGO, THERE IS ONLY ONE ALTERNATIVE: UNEMPLOYMENT.
// I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO AFFORD THE THINGS THAT I DREAM OF.
If any of the above-mentioned thoughts apply to you – then there is good news: you can do something about it!
TURNING YOUR BOOK INTO A BUSINESS
No matter if you are just completing a final thesis, your Ph.D. research or a postdoc project – all this is based on thorough research and plenty of insights and learning. We have developed a method of literature-based entrepreneurship education (LBEE) that teaches you how to transfer this knowledge to the real world. It helps you derive products and services from your written work, so you can create impact in society.
Business is therefore not an end in itself – it is a tool that builds the bridge between theory and practice, between humanistic thinking and entrepreneurial practice. The goal is to allow you to regain a feeling of purpose and agency while preparing you for an independent career in entrepreneurship, business, or any other field that you dream of.
